Why You Should Jailbreak Your Device!
Many people ask "Why should I jailbreak my device?". What it boils down to is customization and tools. Freeman shows off a couple of tweaks such as a Twitter app that is activated by swiping down from the iPhone's status bar (qTweeter) and a way to quickly access settings using a similar gesture (SBSettings).
Whether these kinds of additions to the iOS world are enough to warrant any possible instabilities as well as the inevitable wait for a new jailbreak every time a new version of iOS comes out very much depends on the user, but the act of jailbreaking is as easy as ever these days and a restore is just a click away should you not like the experience.

Have a look at this video for a demonstration:
This is just some of the reasons why its great to jailbreak, there are of course thousands more reasons.

iOS 4.3.2 for iPhone, iPad, iPod touch Released
Apple has just released iOS 4.3.2 update for iPhone 4 (iOS 4.2.7 for Verizon iPhone 4), iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad, and iPod touch 4G/3G. This is just a minor update to fix bugs, DNS issues, fix document viewer, FaceTime issues, vulnerabilities and some battery life woes on all iOS devices.

There are tools available to jailbreak 4.3.2 but it will be tethered. Our advice is hold on for the untethered jailbreak as there is nothing major in this upgrade to make it worthwhile.
Full instructions will be published on how to jailbreak your device on 4.3.2 untethered will be here when released.

Google Xoom To Be Released Next Week. Will it Rival The iPad2 ?
Google will attempt to fight Apple for a share of the tablet computer market when it releases its answer to the iPad next week.
The Xoom, which is made by Motorola, is the first tablet computer to run Google's Android 3.0 Honeycomb operating system.
Priced at £479, the device will be in direct competition with the iPad 2, which sold out in less than 24 hours when it went on sale last month and still has a four-week waiting period for online orders.

Andrew Morley from Motorola said: 'We have worked very closely with Google and have spent a lot of time working at their officetony in the United States.
'It's an incredibly competitive market, but we thinking working with Google gives us a point of difference.'
Mr Morley added: 'We have a significant number of pre-orders, which has been really encouraging, and we are very hopeful.'Check out the video below:

iPad 2 Latest Jailbreak Information for 4.3
Joshua Hill of the Chronic Dev Team has today confirmed that since the untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1 is already out, they are now focusing on finishing the iPad 2 jailbreak which mostly likely will be packaged into an updated version of GreenPois0n.

Since 4.3.1 is already exploited by the legendary @i0n1c, we're working on finishing iPad2 jailbreak now.

t is important to note here that Apple has already patched iPad 2 jailbreak exploit in iOS 4.3.1 which was found by Comex on iOS 4.3. Since Chronic Dev Team hasn't announced on whether their new jailbreak will work on iOS 4.3.1 (or the upcoming iOS 4.3.2) or not, therefore to be on the safe side, it will be better to stay on iOS 4.3.
Keep checking for the latest information.

Untethered Jailbreak iOS 4.3.1 Released for Windows and Mac !
The iPhone Dev-Team has released an untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.3.1. The jailbreak implements the untether developed by i0n1c.

The 4.3.1 untether exploit comes courtesy of Stefan Esser (@i0n1c on twitter), a security researcher based in Germany. Stefan has a long history of vulnerability research, and ironically his first contribution to the iPhone jailbreak community was improved security — last year he beat Apple to the punch and implemented ASLR for jailbroken iPhones with his "antid0te" framework. We're happy to see that Stefan then turned his iPhone attention over to an untethered jailbreak exploit!
Supported devices are the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 4G, iPod touch 3G, iPad 1 and Apple TV 2. The iPad 2 is not supported as of yet.

iOS 4.3.1 Untethered Jailbreak Latest Information!
iPhone security expert and hacker Stefan Esser has just released a new video on YouTube, showing untethered iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak running on his iPod touch 4th-gen. He has used the same exploit which he earlier used to jailbreak iOS 4.3.
From the YouTube description of the video:
Meanwhile everyone should have noticed that my prediction became true and Apple released iOS 4.3.1 in order to fix the PWN2OWN vulnerability in Safari.
It was very unlikely that Apple also fixed the kernel vulnerability I used for my untether exploit. Mainly because the kernelcache binary is about 8-10 MB in size and the likelihood that Apple finds the same vulnerability in that short amount of time was very low.
However you never know until you try it. So this morning when I woke up and saw that Sn0wbreeze 2.4 beta was released I thought it would be fun to create a new video.
Unfortunately Sn0wbreeze does not work with my iPad 1 and so I had to test with my iPod 4G.
In the video you can see how I switch off the iPod, then restart it, show the version, show that it is tethered and has the multitasking gestures, i show that you can buy ringtones and then I show cydia and the ninja jump game from last time.
Because several people misunderstood me in the past:
a. I repeatedly stated that I will not release a jailbreak tool – I will only give out the untether. I did not try yet, but if it is feasible the untether could be a cydia package.
b. While the vulnerability I use is in the iPad 2 kernel my untether will NOT SUPPORT the iPad 2, because there is no way to install it there (bootrom exploits fixed). – however Comex is working on that part.
c. I am not giving out any ETA again, because the Jailbreak community is simply nuts. Last time I gave an ETA and even before that had passed I got constantly insulted by people that were demanding an immediate release. Sorry guys the more you insult people with the knowledge to actually do what YOU WANT the less motivation there is to use our free time to give it to you.
d. The only reason why I did not finish the untether before the ETA was due to unexpected work overload in my real job. It had nothing todo with the untether being too hard or unreal.
e. I don't know why the dev team has not released a redsn0w that does tethered jailbreak for 4.3.1 – I would prefer that to be available, cause sn0wbreeze obviously does not work 100% yet.
f. If you want to learn more about iPhone kernel hacking/exploitation you should come to SyScan Singapore at the end of April.http://syscan.org/index.php/sg/program
Stefan Esser has confirmed that he has now handed over the exploit to the members of the iPhone Dev-Team and that it is currently in internal beta testing stage.
Also, this untethered exploit wont work on the iPad 2. Since Apple has patched Comex's exploit in iOS 4.3.1, a new exploit will be required to jailbreak iPad 2 on the latest iOS 4.3.1 firmware.
Once this initial testing is found to be successful, they are then going to implement it in one of their existing tools like Redsn0w or PwnageTool before releasing it to public. Keep checking here for further information!

Is Apple MobileMe Going To Be Free With iOS 5 For April?
MobileMe is a widely used service to keep your emails, contacts and calendar in sync on all your devices. It has been reported that Apple is going to unveil iOS 5 and MobileMe revamp in April. The reason why Apple will be unveiling the two together in a single event is that they are probably deeply integrated. It is believed that iOS 5 is expected to bring in a lot of cloud features.

Redmond Pie state that they have another source that backs the claim of the revamped MobileMe April launch which sort of confirms the early April event. Folks at iLounge report that the new revamped version will come free. Reported to them by a source who works in an educational institute, the new version is going to be free online cloud based "locker" for keeping photos, videos and music. Source claims, the school's supplier has said that the current version of MobileMe is no longer available and anyone who needs to sign up shall opt for the 60-day trial. This will cover the gap till the launch of new version.
Apple will support existing version for an year, this suggests that the new version is going to be a lot more different and the support for older version is kept for those who recently paid for their yearly subscription.
